Is there a free tier?
Yes. Use 10 successful uncached requests per IP each UTC day without an account. New free accounts receive a one-time welcome bonus of 1,000 credits with no card required.
How do API credits work?
Each successful uncached operation uses one credit. The 1,000-credit welcome bonus and purchased credits share one balance, never expire, and work with signed-in website tools and active API keys.
Do you charge for failed requests?
No. A credit is reserved before work starts and released when the request fails. Cache hits do not consume credits or the anonymous daily allowance.
What happens when my API credits run out?
Uncached account requests return HTTP 402 until you add credits. Cached responses remain free.
Is there a monthly plan?
No scheduled monthly plan is required. Use one-time pay-as-you-go top-ups, or optionally authorize capped automatic funding that runs only when your prepaid balance reaches your chosen threshold. Purchased credits remain available until used.
What are the rate limits, and how can I increase them?
The standard limit is 60 uncached requests per client per minute, with a separate limit of 5 high-cost extraction requests per minute. Contact us if you need higher limits.
Why do I see tax, and what payment methods are accepted?
Dodo Payments is the merchant of record and adds applicable tax based on the transaction details and local rules. A tax ID does not always make a purchase tax-free. Available payment methods are shown in checkout and can vary by country.
Do you offer discounts for startups or nonprofits?
There is no standard discount program today. Contact us with your use case and expected volume if the public pricing does not fit your organization.
Are there extra fees for complex pages?
No. Every supported successful uncached operation has the same one-credit cost. Some resource-intensive requests have a separate protective rate limit.
Do all endpoints and features cost the same?
Yes. Every supported successful uncached API or MCP operation uses one credit, regardless of endpoint or extraction method. Anonymous access uses the daily allowance instead. Failed requests and cache hits are free.
